The Hocking Hills are a secret treasure of the state of Ohio. Home to Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Cantwell Cliffs, Cedar Falls and many other rock shelters and formations. It attracts nature lovers year round because of some of its rare flora. Written Rock ties this area back to some very ancient people. Unfortunatly this area has long been associated with stories of Devil Worship, Ghosts, and all-around creepiness. They say that upright sticks, arranged in a particular pattern is a signal whether it's safe to go or not. If you drive there late at night and see breeze stick formations you might want to keep going.
